Endometriosis: One of the Many Faces of the Chronic Illness

As an ambassador for the Endometriosis Association, I had the opportunity to share my endometriosis diagnostic journey to some doctors in hopes to improve knowledge, competence, prompt and accurate diagnosis, and confidence in endometriosis awareness from a patient's perspective. The video is intended to be shared with OB/GYNs, PCPs, and their teams of NPs, PAs, nurses pharmacists working within community-, academic-, and system-based practices. “I have known Lindsey Peters for a few years and working with her and alongside her has been tremendous.  Lindsey is an exceptional speaker who advocates for endometriosis awareness.  She provided insightful information into her journey during our DEI speaker series held in 2022 with UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth as we discussed the implicit bias in healthcare.  I have also worked alongside Lindsey on various panels and she speaks from the heart and connects with people on a personal level, which makes it easier for people to relate to and support the cause.

I am excited for Lindsey as she continues to motivate and inspire with her future endeavors.”
